Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Hatch Collectibles Co., Ltd. (the "Company") and Members who are personal location information subjects, and other necessary matters, with respect to the location-based services provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Rules Not Covered by the Terms)
Matters not set forth in these Terms are governed by applicable laws, including the Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information (the "Location Information Act"), the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act, and by the Company's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Article 3 (Content and Fees of the Service)
- With the Member's consent, the Company provides the following services.
Service Description Nearby Receives the device's current location, identifies it as a city/county/district (administrative district), and shows cards made public by Members in the same area. The identified city/county/district is saved as the Member's "My area." Card Shop Map Centers the map on the device's current location and shows nearby card shops first. This feature uses the location only within the device and does not send it to the Company. However, it uses Kakao Map to load the surrounding map (Article 9).
- If a Member consents to "Make My Area Public," the Member's public cards are shown in the "My area" area feed, and other Members may learn the Member's city/county/district. Matters regarding this are set forth in Article 8.
- Location-based services are provided free of charge. However, data charges are subject to the rate plan of the Member's mobile carrier.
Article 4 (Use and Retention of Personal Location Information)
- The Company receives the device's location coordinates only if the Member has consented to the use of location information. Consent is obtained when the Member first uses "Nearby" or the Card Shop Map, and once given, it applies to both features.
- Location coordinates sent to the Company are used only for conversion into a city/county/district, are destroyed immediately upon conversion, and are not stored.
- The resulting city/county/district name ("My area") is kept until the Member changes it, withdraws consent to the use of location information, or withdraws membership. Upon withdrawal of consent, the Company deletes without delay any "My area" determined by location (an area the Member selected manually is not location information and therefore remains).
Article 5 (Retention of Records Confirming the Collection, Use, and Provision of Location Information)
- In accordance with Article 16(2) of the Location Information Act, the Company automatically records the facts of use of personal location information (date and time of use, purpose of use, and acquisition route) in its location information system. These records do not include location coordinates or areas.
If personal location information has been provided to a third party, the recipient, date and time of provision, and purpose of provision are also recorded.

- If a Member withdraws consent to the use of location information or withdraws membership, the Company destroys that Member's records without delay.

- Each time the Company provides personal location information, it immediately notifies the Member of the recipient, the date and time of provision, and the purpose of provision through the in-app notification box. Multiple provisions to the same Member on the same day are counted as one.
